This web site does NOT use cookies

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that many websites store on your computer so that your use of the website can be monitored and recorded. For example, when you shop online, the contents of your shopping basket is stored on your computer as a cookie.

As from 26th May 2012 European Union (EU) law requires that in most circumstances users must be asked to agree to cookies being stored on their computers. In the UK the law is slightly different and allows the use of 'implied consent'. This variation from EU law was introduced only two days before the law came into force and the full implications are not yet clear. (Read the article published in the Guardian on 26th May 2012)
